Job Title
Steel Structural Engineer
Location
JiuXianqiao, ChaoYang District, Beijing
Responsible for designing Power Plant steel structures (Turbine hall, pipe racks, secondary structures,…). In charge of calculation and drafting .Involves in EPC Steam Plant project (overseas). Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Civil, Arrangement, piping, …).Reports to the Head of Structural.
Major Responsibilities
- Steel structures calculation according to international codes & standards
- Detailing Drafting including connections
- Project 3D modeling
- 2-D drawing editing
- Assist in the creation of Project related materials supply.
- Supplier follow up
- Site support during erection stage
Skills and competences
The ability to pay close attention to detail, precision and accuracy.
Strong communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.
Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.
Multi-tasking and taking direction would be expected
Execute CAD Drafting tasks in a timely and professional manner in line with assigned due dates, while ensuring the highest quality of work with minimal errors and rework required
Software knowledge
Staad pro or similar calculation software.
Other 3-D Detailing software will be considered
AutoCAD
Microsoft Office
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience.
